Indrana seeks to experiment with the different design cultures of Scandinavia and South Asia. Through this experimentation we intend to create art and design that is new, playful and modern, drawing on the rich historical, political and traditional narratives from these regions.

In particular, Indrana aims to synergise Swedish and Indian design as a means of projecting and creating a new design narrative. Globalisation is blurring boundaries, cultures, peoples and ideas. This intensification of contact between cultures has inspired us to discern a harmony in patterns, motifs and traditions that unites Indian and Swedish design.
